Pelican 1550 custom foam insert for 5 pistols. (Includes convoluted lid foam)
This foam is designed to hold 5 pistols, sized up to a 1911. Holds 5 pistols, 18 clips. This is made out of black crosslink over a polyethylene black foam middle. Much firmer/stronger than the Gray pluck foam that comes with standard cases. The picture is exactly how it comes. The foam is pre-cut and ready to go. This makes your 1550 into the perfect pistol travel case. This foam will hold up much better to oils and cleaning solutions.

Chemically Cross-Linked Polyethylene Foam is an extremely fine-celled foam, ideal for custom projects and applications that require thicker foam. With a smooth, pleasant feel combined with superior physical and chemical properties, cross-linked polyethylene foam is the solution for an array of applications that demand thicker sections of closed cell foam.

Perfect gear for deployment
I was driving by Vegas with the fam (last vacay with them before a 9mo deployment) and Colorcase store just caught my eye. My husband was like, won’t u need a pelican?
Fast fwd, this has been the best decision ever, I ended up flying 5x prior to getting to my ULT dest, and I’m 61”, this deep luggage practically fit 2seabag full, it became my closet for 2 mos..
