Replaced my over molded handle on my 1550 case from Black to Red to indicate it as my Trauma Kit.
Handle was very easy to replace by using a punch and a hammer to carefully drive the pins toward the center of the case. After the splines are out of the plastic the pins slide right out of the hinge tabs.
Very easy to reverse the process and install the new handle.
Great OEM Pelican products and great to customize your case for style or color coding with purpose if needed.

For context for other readers: we took a will-call order for black when it was actually out of stock. Restock of the color was delayed significantly due to a production issue on the manufacturer's end, pushing our lead time out several weeks, and you needed the case right away.
As soon as we caught the error, we called you directly, explained the delay, and offered Desert Tan or OD Green as in-stock alternatives, and you chose and picked up the Desert Tan. We know a color swap isn't what you set out for, and we appreciate you working with us on it. If you'd like to order a black case down the road, we'd be glad to help. Thank you for your business.
