Mark Mandell I own three Pelican Air cases and was so pleased I ordered a fourth in a more standard checked bag configuration for a smoother baggage claim process. I had an issue installing upgrades and the management was kind enough to install everything at there end on a fresh case and I returned the old one. They even added a little something extra which I will leave at that so some folks won’t take undue advantage. Totally top notch quality and customer service. I like the case but you have to pack light in order to not have to pay overage fees with the airlines! got the 1535 also and it is really good for computer protection! So far only the first trip they are holding up! definately lighter then the original! you have to line the wheels up for the escalator you can't just wheel it around like a normal suitcase have to keep in a straight line kinda sucks but it is what it is

Easy Install - Landing Gear

Perfect gear for deployment
I was driving by Vegas with the fam (last vacay with them before a 9mo deployment) and Colorcase store just caught my eye. My husband was like, won’t u need a pelican?
Fast fwd, this has been the best decision ever, I ended up flying 5x prior to getting to my ULT dest, and I’m 61”, this deep luggage practically fit 2seabag full, it became my closet for 2 mos.. Extremely durable while transporting living situations via gravel.. Just so damn convenient and all branches are just in envy. Not to mention, their superb customer service at the flagship store.
