Mid size case perfection

I work in TV and film production as a location sound supervisor. I’ve been using Pelican cases day in and day our for over 20 years. The 1560 is the perfect balance of capacity and portability. It’s got enough room for transmitters, timecode, IFB’s, a days worth of batteries, and expendables. I was using a 1510 for years, but as my kit has grown and evolved, it was just becoming too much of a pain to try and Tetris everything in there after a day of shooting. The 1560 is about 50% bigger that the 1510 and allows me to get everything in there without having to obsess over how it’s packed. I’ve been all over the world with Pelican cases, and I’ve seen them go through absolutely brutal treatment. I can tell you without a doubt, what goes in a Pelican case survives.

The case came without the wheels I paid for. It is supposed to have the colored wheels, but the case I received came with the standard black wheels.

Excellent replacement for OEM wheels

Love them. They were not difficult to install and watching the instructional video on YouTube prior to purchasing them made me more confident and willing to take on the challenge. Highly recommend purchasing the pin punch for both the removal and installation of the wheels. The punch will assist in aligning the wheel on the case and getting the pin installed is that much easier. They are quieter than the OEM wheels but not as quiet as I had expected. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and will buy more for my other Pelican cases. Highly recommended.

Don't think. Just buy. Well worht the investment.

I hesitated a bit before purchasing this item and those fears were put to rest when I opened the box. From the packaging, to the sheet of instructions and the fit and finish of the product, I am truly happy. The tub fit inside of my 1610 perfectly, installed the end pads and the foam base layer and off we went. I would recommend without hesitation and I feel that there is good value for the money spent. Highly recommended.

Happy customer for black/lime green 1535 case

I bought the black/lime green on Amazon to carry 3D printed prototypes that I didn't want to risk getting crushed when I had to gate-check the carryon on a regional jet. It worked great for this.

I really like the lime green handles because it makes the bag look unique. Easy to spot when it's coming down the baggage carousel and it deters baggage thieves who look for anonymous black luggage. Now I'm saving up for a matching 1615 case...
