Love my new case and the choices in colors available. Very durable and able to fit more in it than I thought I could. Only downside is that it does scratch easily, but it is luggage.

I pack light and usually take only a 45L carry on....but I decided to get a medium Pelican to check in for longer air travel. I purchased the 1615 with just the top pocket liner. I can cube out the rest accordingly. Upon first open, this 70L seemed HUGE (for me) but after putting in the basics, I think it will be great for 1-3 months of travel with plenty of left over space for anything else that comes along. Purchased through ColorCase authorized reseller as Pelican was out of the color option I preferred, they didn't offer just the top liner option or customization options. The yellow accents will be great for luggage carousel recognization. Like all my other equipment based Pelicans, this is high quality and definitely lighter. For me, it's much better than a typical 70L roller zippered suitcase with all the weird elastic-ee type things they come with..pretty certain I'll never need another in this lifetime.

I ordered the case with foam and they sent me a case with nothing but 2 mesh bags - now I need to order foam to protect my things… very confused about the customization section as well

Our order records (Order #12960) indicate that you purchased the case with Combo-Pouch Lid Organizer only, which does not come with foam. Those mesh bags are included when we get the case with the Combo-Lid Organizer and we left them in the case. This thing is awesome. Top quality throughout! The TrekPak system is easy to use and works well. Helpful hint - buy the extra TrekPak divider add on kit, you will need it, it does not come with enough divider material! The colors go along great with my "Q" rifle system! Love the system it is very well thought out and high quality!
