Joshua M Leichtman I went with this as I like the customization you can do with these. Each slot I made his its own home either for the bodies or lenses. I bought this for the Protector 1510 and now for the Protector 1650. Price is high but thats not ColorCase's problem and when you have 15k in gear in the case I want to make sure it doesn't get jarred when traveling with them. The 1650 is too large for carry on so I take this on drives and swap out to the 1510 for carry on. Don't let throwers handle your professional gear!

Perfect gear for deployment
I was driving by Vegas with the fam (last vacay with them before a 9mo deployment) and Colorcase store just caught my eye. My husband was like, won’t u need a pelican?
Fast fwd, this has been the best decision ever, I ended up flying 5x prior to getting to my ULT dest, and I’m 61”, this deep luggage practically fit 2seabag full, it became my closet for 2 mos.. Extremely durable while transporting living situations via gravel.. Just so damn convenient and all branches are just in envy. Not to mention, their superb customer service at the flagship store. I use this as a travel case for my mobile youtube studio and it fits all my gear and is easy to take on planes. I recomend also getting the Rucpac conversion kit. 10/10
